I am 13 years old. I first began composing 4 years ago because I wanted to write pieces to teach to my sister who was
then 4. Since then, I have composed 2 books ( "Tunes for Tots" and "Ghosts at Midnight") I listen to a wide range of music,
from rap to R&B and rock to pop. The arts are a very important part of my life. I have been playing
piano for 4 1/2 years and flute for 2. I also sing and hope to be a performer. I took ballet for 8 years and jazz for 2 years.
I currently am in a Musical Theater competition class. We sing, dance and act in a 10 minute number which we perform at state-wide
competions. I am in the 7th grade and my favorite subjects are math and english. In my free time I like to shop, read,
and talk with friends. On the piano, I am currently playing a piece called "Downtown Strut" ( which I HIGHLY recommend). My
favorite songs that I wrote are "Groovy", "Happy", and "Rain"
