I am very interested in music and I listen to it all the time. I also play multiple instruments.
I like a big variety of music ranging from Britney Spears (a pop artist) to P.O.D. (a hard rock band.) I usually listen to
the radio and flip between stations to find a song that I like. Some types of music that I enjoy are Hip-Hop, Rock/Alternative,
Jazz, Pop and Oldies. I love The Beatles and Sublime and I could not live without Bob Marley. The type of music I listen to
depends on what kind of mood I am in, for instance if I am lazily hanging out with friends or ready to jump up and dance to
something with a good beat. I play the piano (as you know) and I also play the drums in a rock group I have at school. On
the piano, I am currently working on the piece La Comparsa, and I have completed Wave by Jobim, and Norwegian Concerto by
Grieg, all of which I really like. My favorite of my own compositions are Waterway, Floating Fairies, Lemon Zing, Sunshine
Boogie and Winter Skies.
I love to dance. I have been dancing since I was about five. I was a mouse in the Nutcracker
when I was eight, but now my favorite kinds of dance are hip-hop, modern and jazz. I have taken many classes and performed
many times. I am constantly choreographing dances with my friends, who also love to dance. During the winter I go skiing with
my dad and during the summer I go to baseball games with him. At this point I am said to be a better skier than him but I
don't believe it. My friends see me as very creative and I love all kinds of art. My school allows us to experiment with many
types of art such as clay, sculpting, collage, painting, drawing, etc. I also love to write. I often write poetry, and am
currently writing a book. I have so many interests, but most of all I just like to have fun!
